Methodology

What the analysis measures—and what it cannot guarantee.

Last updated: 2026-09-07

Three levels of analysis

Overview provides a lightweight first look. Quick compares naming quality, current technical signals, and available registration prices. Deep adds bounded historical sampling and supporting evidence for candidates you explicitly select.

Read the evidence before the score

Each report is a snapshot, not a promise. Check the source, observation time, coverage, and warnings. Missing data is shown as unavailable or unknown; a provider finding no records does not establish that a domain is safe.

Preliminary ranking helps narrow a list before full analysis. Project rankings compare the reports currently available and can change after new evidence or candidates are added.

Limits

Availability and prices can change before purchase. Confirm registration, renewal pricing, currency, and fees at the registrar. Historical sampling is incomplete and may miss important events. AI-generated interpretation may be incorrect.

This service does not register domains, guarantee traffic or resale value, or perform trademark clearance. Reports are not legal advice or a guarantee of security. Seek appropriate independent advice before a consequential purchase.

Questions

Use Support to report an incorrect finding, including the report reference and the evidence you believe needs review.
